❓ FAQ

What input formats are supported?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG, M4A, AAC, OPUS, WebM, and other audio formats supported by your browser. If a file can't be decoded, an error message will be shown.
What's the difference between WAV and OGG?
WAV is lossless with great quality but larger file sizes. OGG uses Opus encoding — excellent compression with great quality and broad compatibility. OGG is recommended for everyday use.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the Web Audio API. Files never leave your device — your privacy is protected.
Why is OGG conversion slow?
OGG conversion uses real-time recording, so the processing time equals the audio duration. A 3-minute song takes about 3 minutes to convert.
Why do some files fail to decode?
Some less common codecs (e.g., older WMA) may not be supported by the browser. Try converting to a browser-native format first.
