FAQ

What's the difference between vertical and horizontal stitching?
Vertical stitching stacks images with a uniform width, ideal for long screenshots, product detail pages, and comic strips. Horizontal stitching places images side by side with a uniform height, ideal for panoramas and banner comparisons.

What does the reference base mean?
The reference base determines which image's size is used to unify all image dimensions. First: all images scale proportionally to the first image's size. Smallest: scale to the smallest image. Largest: scale to the largest image. The scale then further adjusts the percentage on this basis.

Are there size limits on the stitched result?
Canvas has a maximum size limit: a single side no larger than 65535 pixels, and total pixels no more than 160000000 (about 160 million pixels). If the result exceeds this limit, the tool shows a warning — try lowering the scale or reducing the number of images.

Are image files uploaded to a server?
No. All stitching is done locally in your browser via the Canvas API; image files are never uploaded to any server, so you can use it with confidence.
