FAQ

What video formats are supported?
Supports common video formats playable in browsers, including MP4, WebM, OGG, AVI, and more. We recommend using MP4 for best compatibility.

Will the generated GIF files be very large?
GIF format does not support efficient compression, so file sizes are typically much larger than the original video. We recommend controlling duration and dimensions (width of 320-480px is suggested) to reduce file size. The default frame rate is 10fps, and generation time depends on video length and dimensions.

Will my video files be uploaded to a server?
No. All processing is done locally in your browser through Canvas. Video files are never uploaded to any server. Feel free to use this tool with confidence.
